After the great success of 'Air Ways' in 2010 the Oldenburgisches State theatre and Guy Weizman and Roni Haver work together once again. Together Guy Weizman and Roni Haver created the choreography for 'Romeo et Juliette' of Tanzcompagnie Oldenburg, choir, orchestra and many soloists. The two choreographers make use of the royal freedom for interpretation that composer, conductor, and writer Hector Berlioz (1803-1869) left in probably the best composition he ever created: 'Roméo et Juliette'.
CRASH is a co-production by Club Guy & Roni and Noord Nederlands Toneel. Eight people survive a car crash by the skin of their teeth and realise that they have been given a second chance. Some of them try to pick up their old lives, others choose a new start. For all of them, this violent collision has brought them closer together.
Club Guy & Roni lets itself be inspired for 'Naked Lunch' by the identically named masterpiece by the American writer William Burroughs, in which a man experiences a hallucinatory trip through a nightmare-like landscape. Even the dancers ánd actors cross the boundaries between fiction and reality, together with three singers of VOCAALLAB and four percussionists of Slagwerk Den Haag. Oscar van Woensel wrote the text, Yannis Kyriakides composed the music.
